第66回女性の地位委員会（CSW）代表会議は、2022年3月14日から25日まで国際連合ニューヨーク本部で開催されます。太平洋地区発展与教育組織は30年連続で招請を受け、代表団を組織して参加してきました。今年も私たちは、第66回女性の地位委員会（CSW）代表会議のサイドフォーラム（分科会）の開催を再び申請し、承認されました。皆さまのご参加を心よりお待ちしております。
女性の地位委員会（CSW）は、国際連合 経済社会理事会の9つの機能委員会の一つであり、1946年6月に設立されました。創設時の構成員は15名でしたが、1967年に32名に拡大されました。女性の地位委員会（CSW）は、ジェンダー平等の促進と女性のエンパワーメントに特化した重要な世界的政府間機関であり、女性の権利の充実、世界の女性の生活の現状の記録、ジェンダー平等と女性のエンパワーメントに関する世界基準の設定において重要な役割を果たしています。女性の地位委員会（CSW）は、女性や女児の発展の機会を制限する固定観念や差別の撤廃において極めて重要です。

テーマ：青少年が平和と正義の橋を架ける

本サイドフォーラムでは、青年と少年がパンデミックの間にどのように社会的、精神的、健康上の課題に立ち向かっているかに焦点を当てて議論します。彼らがどのように対処し、共に力を合わせて、友人、家族、地域社会に希望と平和をもたらし、混乱した急速に変化する世界の中で団結の橋を築いているのか。さまざまな地域社会の青少年が、それぞれ心を打つ自らの物語を分かち合います。

TITLE: Building Bridges: Youth and Junior Youth Working for Peace and Justice

This panel discussion will focus on how Youth and Junior Youth are dealing with social, mental, and health challenges during the pandemic. How they are coping and working together to bring hope and peace to their friends, families, and communities, and creating bridges of unity in a chaotic and fast changing world. Youth, Junior Youth, and Young Adults from different communities will share their inspiring stories.
PANEL SUBMISSION INFORMATION
We are looking for individuals of all ages - but especially Youth, Junior Youth, and Young Adults - who are dedicated to cross-cultural and community building efforts, with experience or insights on the future of building a better world, and who would like to join our virtual panel via Zoom by delivering a 5 minute presentation and sharing in a Q&A section.
